McLean - Saint Louis
We left McLean by 9:00 am and went via Atlanta, Lawndale, Lincoln,
Broadwell, Elkhart, Williamsville, Sherman into Springfield.
Bill Shea’s Gas Station was the first stop, and then we went on to The State Capitol of Illinois.
From Springfield we drove the 2 lane road (1926-1930) towards Hamel.
From Hamel via Edwardsville, Mitchell we stopped at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge.
Via I270 we entered Saint Louis and finished our journey for today at the Gateway Arch.
