Gallup - -Holbrook
After leaving Gallup we headed to Lupton.
We entered Arizona, now are 6 of 8 States done of our Route 66 trip.
After Luton we drove to Houck, Sanders, Chambers and Navajo.
We decided to do the side trip through Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest, so we left Route 66.
Look at pictures from the side trip, and you will see, that it was worth it. We didn’t regret the visit to this great National Park. So much wood, but everything is stone!
From the southern exit of the park, we took the 180 to Holbrook.
The Wigwam in Holbrook was our destination for today, and we will not forget Winona tomorrow!
