Barstow - Pasadena
A sad feeling come up today, that we are coming to the end of our Route 66 trip.
From Barstow we drove to Lenwood, Hodge, Helendale, Bryman and Oro Grande.
We crossed the Mojave River on the 1930 steel truss bridge.
In Victorville we stopped at the Route 66 Museum.
We had a nice chat with the people in the Museum. Thank you for your time!
After Victorville was time for lunch.
Canjon Summit Inn was a nice place to have lunch. Of course we had the Ostrich special hamburger.
In Devore we left the I-215 for the Cajon Blvd. which brought us to San Bernardino, Rialto (Wigwam Motel)
Fontana, Claremont, Monrovia and Pasadena, the destination for today.
For tomorrow the Terminus is left, which one will we choose? You will have the answer tomorrow.
