We left Paihia by ten o clock, and our first stop was Kawakawa, a small town, well known for the famous designed toilets by Hundertwasser. Thereafter we stopped at the Glow Worm Caves in Kawiti. Obviously no picture from the inside of the cave. The Glow Worms don’t like flashlight! From there we followed SH1 towards Orewa.
