Dargaville to Ahipara

After leaving Dargaville we
followed SH12 towards Omapere, inlet of the Hokiranga Harbor. Next stop was Rawene, from there
we took the ferry towards Rangiora. Via Mohuiti, Awaroa, Herekino we
arrived at the Ahipara Bay Motel. We had enough time to drive to a
lookout above Ahipara. The road was really for 4-wheels drive only. But the view from the lookout was
fantastic! We had also a look at the entrance
of the 90 Mile Beach. Today’s trip in Google Earth: |
